Job Title: Configuration Manager

At Interactive Process Technology LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Manager to join our Technology Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing technical solutions that satisfy our customers' business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage configuration management, collaborating with engineering teams to perform CM tasks and execute configuration control.
  • Analyze, update, and maintain technical baselines to support interoperability, integration of IT services/systems, and IT governance.
  • Implement and administer configuration management solutions, educating team members on CM process, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate, support, and perform CM activities for projects, tracking and facilitating approval of change requests.
  • Identify and track Configuration Items, maintaining technical baseline documents and supporting the System Engineering Team, IA, and other groups as needed.
  • Provide CM input/content as requested and create and maintain the CMDB.
  • Responsible for Risk Management Framework step 6 (Continuous Monitoring of CI's) and incorporate configuration management methodologies within the change process, initiating improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related technical discipline (Masters preferred).
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • 5+ years enterprise-level IT configuration management experience.
  • On-site at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide appropriate courses of action.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • ServiceNow experience is desired.
