Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing patient care, evaluating treatment decisions, and implementing standards and policies to ensure the highest level of care. You will work closely with our clinical teams, direct support staff, and indirect support staff to develop and implement policies and procedures that maximize patient-centered communication and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage acute, chronic, and episodic high-risk patients of all ages, with the goal of improving or maintaining their current health state.
  • Oversee and monitor patient evaluation, treatment decisions, and consultations as required.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of standards, policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Support and participate in continuous quality improvement efforts to increase patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Provide education to patients and family caregivers to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources and document patient information.
  • Coordinate services with other patient care locations as required, maintaining communication with allied services.
  • Assist providers with technical procedures, prepare and inform patients, and perform various patient care procedures and administer medications as directed.
  • Document and maintain records and charts, reporting patient condition, medications given, and treatments administered.
  • Ensure informed consent has been obtained and communicate pertinent patient information to other healthcare team members.
  • Review patient charts prior to and after being seen by providers to ensure quality assurance.
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, practicing safety, environmental, and infection control methods.
  • Demonstrate compliance with all clinic policies and procedures, as well as requirements from regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
  • Current State license as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development, as well as the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the patient population served.
  • Previous experience in an office setting or one year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with patients, families, and physicians.
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience preferred but not required.
Salary:

$25 - $40/hour
