Position Overview:
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Adult Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC). This is a Full-Time opportunity aimed at delivering essential behavioral health services to military personnel and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary focus of this role is to offer behavioral health support to military service members and their families. MFLC counselors engage in face-to-face counseling sessions addressing a variety of concerns.


Areas of Counseling Include:
  • Living conditions
  • Life skills enhancement
  • Relationship improvement at home and work
  • Stress management techniques
  • Adjustment challenges, particularly those associated with deployment
  • Marital issues
  • Parenting support
  • Grief and loss management

Counselors are also responsible for conducting health and wellness presentations and collaborating with installation command staff on behavioral matters.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA)
  • Valid unrestricted counseling license or certification in North Dakota (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC)
  • Understanding of military culture and experience working with military families
  • Ability to independently create, implement, and assess safety and intervention plans tailored to individual and family needs
  • U.S. Citizenship and fluency in English
  • Ability to pass all required background and suitability checks

Preferred Experience:
  • Previous military service or being a military family member
  • Strong familiarity with military culture
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
