Facility Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: The role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the facility through various janitorial and maintenance tasks.
This position operates during the second shift, commencing between noon and 3:30 PM.
- Execute cleaning and maintenance services throughout the facility, including outdoor grounds upkeep, manage inventory supplies, assist with documentation, and support purchase order processes.
- Input Work Order details into the designated maintenance software for all assigned responsibilities.
- Notify the Facility Operations Manager regarding any maintenance or safety issues.
- Gather recyclable materials as identified by the facility and ensure compliance with recycling protocols.
- Provide assistance with lobby coverage when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; at least two years of experience in janitorial maintenance or a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of the tools, techniques, practices, and materials necessary for safely and effectively performing assigned duties. Significant knowledge of relevant environmental regulations.
- Proficient in using office equipment such as personal computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to new software applications.
- Capable of maintaining precise and accurate records and reports.
- Skilled in prioritizing and organizing tasks to ensure timely project completion.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Effective communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently.
- Ability to manage confidential information and materials.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is required.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a "Q" Security Clearance if mandated by the Facility Security Officer.
Compensation and Benefits: $17.20/hour. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Accrued Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay, Accrued Sick Pay, and a 401k match.
