Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our healthcare team. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to individuals of all ages who experience communication disorders, speech impairments, and swallowing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice quality, fluency, and pragmatic language abilities.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, therapeutic exercises, and techniques to support ongoing progress and independence.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuing education to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
