POSITION SUMMARY:
We are in search of a full-time Pediatric Speech Therapist for our North Richland Hills clinic.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct a minimum of 120 therapy sessions monthly, as this is a full-time role.
  • Work within clinic hours, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6:30 PM, with scheduled therapy sessions primarily from Monday to Thursday.
  • Assess and treat patients with various speech, language, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Design, modify, and execute individualized Plans of Care that incorporate both long-term and short-term objectives tailored to each patient's therapeutic needs.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatments to your caseload.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all services, activities, and consultations relevant to your expertise.
  • Complete all necessary service-related documentation, including treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries, by established deadlines.
  • Exhibit professionalism and effective communication skills while interacting with children, families, colleagues, and other professionals.
  • Provide education and resources to families to enhance progress and skill retention.
  • Maintain the required continuing education units and licensure to practice in Texas.
  • Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Genuine passion for working with children and families.
  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Current Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certification.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Collaborative spirit with occupational therapists and fellow SLPs.
  • Experience with children facing various communication and swallowing challenges, including speech sound disorders, language disorders, autism, and other developmental issues.

SCHEDULE:
Clinic hours are Monday to Thursday from 9 AM to 6:30 PM, with Fridays available for evaluations and documentation.
