We are seeking a highly skilled Diabetes Advisor to join our team at the Rheine Hospital. As a Diabetes Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing holistic care and treatment to individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as gestational diabetes.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate group training programs for individuals with type 1 diabetes using insulin pumps and glucose sensors.
- Develop and deliver modular individual consultations for all types of diabetes, including type 2 diabetes with and without insulin treatment.
- Provide care and counseling to individuals with diabetes-related complications, such as diabetic foot syndrome.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide consultative departmental and cross-house co-treatment.
- Perform special examinations, such as exclusion of insulinoma and fundus photography.
- Completed training as a Diabetes Advisor.
- Experience with insulin pumps, glucose sensors, and digital data management.
- Strong social skills, empathy, and team spirit.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
