Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition.
- Three years of clinical experience in direct care of people with diabetes and associated conditions.
- Current, valid RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (oral and writing) in Spanish.
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of database programs, data report analysis software, and electronic medical record charting.
