">We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmic Care Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the work up, education and follow up of current and potential patients.
">Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Room patients efficiently and ensure a smooth patient flow">
- Perform visual acuities, pressure checks, and visual field testing">
- Administer diagnostic imaging (OCT - optical coherence tomography, fundus photos)">
- Support physicians during in-office procedures">
- Answer patient questions and handle telephone inquiries">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Minimum of two years experience working in ophthalmic care, preferred">
- COA or COT certification is a plus, but not required">
- Experience refracting is a plus">
- Proficient computer and EMR skills">
- Strong communication skills">
- Outgoing and friendly personality">
- Ability to multi-task">
- Team player">
Schedule:
">- ">
- Monday-Thursday, 7:45am-5:00pm">
- Friday, 7:45am-1:00pm">
- No nights, no weekends">
Compensation:
">$60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience
