A leading manufacturer in the medical device sector is currently seeking a dedicated 2nd shift Operator Assembler. This position is focused on the assembly of components into final products on production lines while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support production operators and technicians in the fabrication of products.
- Operate equipment in a production environment.
- Handle sensitive components regularly and work with intricate devices.
- Perform basic measurements and adjustments on machinery.
- Conduct visual inspections throughout the production process.
- Assist in the packaging of completed products.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) to maintain product quality.
- Effectively communicate with team members and engineering staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of providing comprehensive information for root cause analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with microscopes, ISO standards, FDA regulations, or LEAN manufacturing principles.
- Compensation includes an hourly rate with a shift differential based on experience.
