KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilizes Merry Maids' specialized cleaning products and methods to effectively clean and dust surfaces, including all hanging light fixtures, baseboards, and windowsills during each service.

Applies Merry Maids' cleaning solutions to thoroughly sanitize and deodorize all bathroom fixtures, including showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and vanities.

Employs Merry Maids' techniques to clean kitchen appliances, countertops, cabinets, tables, and chairs.

Conducts vacuuming of stairways and ensures all hard surface floors are vacuumed or swept and washed using Merry Maids' products, often on hands and knees.

Moves reasonably movable furniture to clean underneath and behind, and vacuums all upholstered furniture, including under cushions during each visit.

Transports cleaning supplies and equipment to and from the office, vehicle, and clients' residences.

Assists in maintaining a clean and welcoming office environment.

Supports the Team Captain in replenishing cleaning kits and performs necessary equipment maintenance at the end of each workday.

Fosters a positive work atmosphere with a friendly demeanor and contributes to the overall team effort, including adhering to uniform standards, reliability, and punctuality.

Demonstrates respect and understanding towards colleagues.

Contributes to the overarching goal of delivering exceptional customer service.

Participates in weekly staff meetings and performs other reasonable duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, candidates must successfully perform each essential duty. The following attributes are preferred:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING:
Ability to distinguish between various cleaning products by recognizing color or product name.
Ability to understand specific uses of cleaning products.
Ability to interpret cleaning instructions as indicated on customized service reports.
Ability to communicate effectively with the Team Captain to meet customer expectations.

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to travel to various job sites as required.

Ability to endure regular physical contact with pet hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions. Capability to lift and transport 20 pounds of equipment in and out of an average of 4 homes daily, potentially up to 6 homes.

This may involve climbing stairs while carrying equipment. Ability to load and unload equipment from vehicles.

Ability to perform wet cleaning tasks on knees for 60% of working time to clean kitchen and bathroom floors, showers, and tubs; wipe countertops at waist height for 20% of the time; bend for toilets and finish showers and tubs at knee height for 10% of the time; and reach shoulder height or above for 10% of the time to complete room cleaning.

Engages in dry cleaning tasks with the ability to reach, pull, and stoop to make beds for 5% of the time; operate a vacuum cleaner weighing up to 12 pounds for 60% of the time; carry and operate a portable vacuum weighing 6 pounds (which can be strapped diagonally across the shoulder) for 15% of the time; and dust furniture from floor to overhead for 20% of the time. Dusting involves bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and moving small furniture.



LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid driver's license and current liability insurance on the vehicle.

OTHER CRITERIA:

Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle records check, and drug screening. This job description aims to outline the general nature and level of work performed by individuals in this position.
