KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilize Merry Maids' proprietary cleaning solutions and methods to thoroughly clean and dust all areas, including light fixtures, baseboards, and windowsills during each service.

Employ Merry Maids' cleaning products to sanitize and refresh all bathroom amenities, including showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and vanities.

Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas by cleaning appliances, countertops, cabinets, tables, and chairs.

Vacuum staircases and meticulously clean all hard surface floors, utilizing hands and knees techniques with Merry Maids' products.

Rearrange movable furniture to ensure comprehensive cleaning underneath and behind items. Vacuum all upholstered furniture, including beneath cushions, at each visit.

Transport cleaning supplies and equipment between the office, vehicle, and clients' residences.

Assist in keeping the office environment tidy and presentable.

Support the Team Captain in replenishing cleaning kits and performing necessary equipment maintenance at the conclusion of each workday.

Foster a positive work atmosphere with a friendly demeanor and contribute to the overall teamwork of the organization by being punctual and dressed in uniform.

Show respect and understanding towards colleagues and contribute to the overarching goal of delivering exceptional customer service.

Participate in weekly staff meetings and undertake additional reasonable duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates must effectively perform all essential duties. The following attributes are preferred:



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING:

Ability to distinguish between various cleaning products by color or name.

Understanding of specific applications for cleaning products.

Capability to interpret cleaning instructions on customized service reports.

Effective communication with the Team Captain to meet customer expectations.



PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to travel to various job locations as required.

Capacity to manage regular exposure to pet hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning agents.

Ability to lift and transport 20 pounds of equipment while servicing an average of 4 to 6 homes daily, which may involve climbing stairs.

Ability to load and unload equipment from vehicles.

Perform physical tasks such as kneeling for 60% of the work time to clean floors, showers, and tubs; wiping countertops at waist height for 20% of the time; bending for toilets and finishing tasks at knee height for 10% of the time; and reaching above shoulder height for 10% of the time.

Engage in dry tasks that require reaching, pulling, and stooping to make beds 5% of the time; operating a vacuum cleaner weighing up to 12 pounds for 60% of the time; carrying a portable vacuum weighing 6 pounds for 15% of the time; and dusting furniture from floor to overhead for 20% of the time.

Dusting will necessitate bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and moving small furniture.



LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid driver's license and current liability insurance for your vehicle.



OTHER CRITERIA:

Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle records check, and drug screening.
