Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at IES - Residential. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, altering, adding, and repairing electrical systems in residential homes and multifamily buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential homes and multifamily buildings.
  • Residential and multifamily electrical experience is required.
  • Must have proven skill to interpret blueprints and other project documents.
  • Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, and professional.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ensure and maintain safe projects to meet company and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Maintain personal knowledge of NEC Code and installed products.
  • Ability to test and troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Complete rough-in to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wire.
  • Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible person.
  • Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understood.
Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years' electrical experience.
  • Must have knowledge of the NEC Code.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must meet company minimum driving standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Highly knowledgeable of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the electrical construction industry.
  • Working knowledge of the electrical construction residential and multifamily process.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds.
  • Must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check, and drug testing requirements.
