This full-time position includes:
- A broad-based general surgery practice, performing elective and acute procedures at Atrium Health Mercy and NorthEast
- Assisting Surgeons in Gastric Bypass, Gastric Sleeve, and Duodenal Switch, as well as revisional bariatric surgery
- Inpatient work, comprising 2-4 scheduled cases per day, with variable monthly call rotation shared with fellows and residents
As a Bariatric Surgery Specialist, you will provide services in inpatient, outpatient, endoscopy, and operating room settings, caring for acute and chronically ill or injured patients.
Three years of bariatric surgery experience and/or experience in a surgical specialty are required for this position.
Eligible for prescriptive authority application through the Board of Nursing or Medical Board in NC, and BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA are also required.
