Job Summary

As a Mental Health Nurse Specialist at Children's Hospital Of The King's Daughters, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with psychiatric needs. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Psychiatric Inpatient setting. You will be working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide individualized care to patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with families and caregivers. Your expertise in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and communication is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

* Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with psychiatric needs
* Conduct intake interviews, assess patient condition, and develop treatment plans
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
* Provide education to patients and families on mental health topics and disease management
* Utilize evidence-based practices to manage patient symptoms and behaviors
* Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
