Busser/Food Runner

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser/Food Runner to join our team at Alto Lakes Golf and Country Club. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist servers and kitchen staff in a timely manner to maintain a seamless dining experience
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all common areas and service stations, adhering to high standards of quality and service
  • Lift large loads and be on your feet for extended periods, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance
  • Deliver exceptional Member service, exceeding expectations and building strong relationships

Position Requirements

  • Prepare bread baskets and assist the kitchen staff in preparing additional bread as needed
  • Regularly check trash cans and linen bags to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Clean and properly set tables in a timely manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for Members
  • Promptly clean tabletops and chairs between seating's, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Reset and arrange tabletops, ensuring a seamless transition between seating's
  • Promptly clear tables after Members/guests, demonstrating efficiency and attention to detail
  • Dispense dishes, silverware, and linens to the appropriate cleaning areas, maintaining a well-organized workflow
  • Replenish bar ice as needed, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient bar area
  • Clean the restaurant floor using the hokie when necessary, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and safety
  • Deliver food from the Expeditor to server sections in an efficient manner, ensuring timely service
  • Ability to deliver plated food to Members when necessary, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Maintain all work areas, ensuring they are cleaned and properly stocked according to our organization's standards
  • Lights table lamps and/or candles when appropriate, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
  • Operate effectively as a Team Member, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
