Financial Analyst Job Description

Kinettix is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and projections using data from Business Central, Microsoft Data Fabric, and Dispatch 1.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models to ensure accurate and timely project risk-return analysis.
  • Analyze historical results to determine trends and identify business drivers.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly consolidation management reports on solution desk and vendor development efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Finance to prepare the budget and strategic plan.
  • Assist in preparing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet analysis.
  • Prepare commentaries and bridging schedules to document budget variance.
  • Identify performance variances and recognize revenue drivers and business opportunities.
  • Assist in financial analysis and business forecasting.
  • Liaise with the Solution Desk and Finance for corporate reporting.
  • Monitor and provide feedback between proforma models and actuals.
  • Evaluate cost models and analyze trends in all markets supported by Kinettix at various geographic levels.
  • Work with the development team to establish appropriate reporting requirements.
  • Participate in other projects within the organization as needed.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting.
  • Professional certification is preferred but not required.
  • Reside in the Cincinnati region.
  • 3-5 years experience in management accounting.
  • International Travel.
  • Power BI report writing, Python, and DAX language.
