Position Overview:
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for delivering comprehensive and high-quality nutritional care to patients across various settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and develop personalized care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide dietary counseling to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document assessments and interventions in the electronic medical record system.
  • Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and uphold safety standards.
  • Provide mentorship to dietetic interns and contribute to departmental projects.

Core Competencies:
Technical proficiency, effective communication, strong interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to diversity and integrity.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting of light objects. Must possess normal hearing and vision capabilities.

Qualifications:
Active dietetic registration and state licensure as required. A background in nutrition education and clinical experience is essential.

Work Schedule:
Flexible hours, including potential weekend and holiday coverage.
