About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AR Engineer to join our Snap Lab team, where you will play a key role in developing and curating resources for the Spectacles developer community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for the Spectacles developer community
  • Collaborate with the design team to build a better developer experience for Lens Studio
  • Work closely with engineering teams to validate and contribute to the design of new features
  • Explore and demonstrate new potential capabilities for the platform
  • Collaborate with the Partnership team to define the scope of projects with development partners
Requirements
  • Solid foundation in computer science principles
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#/C++
  • In-depth knowledge of real-time AR development tools and 3D engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal, Lens Studio)
  • Experience in creating VR/AR experiences
  • Understanding of 3D mathematics, linear algebra, 3D geometry, graphics, and rendering
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with spatial design, prototyping, and development software (e.g., Lens Studio, Figma, Blender, C4D, Unity)
  • Bringing a new perspective or expertise in a particular field (e.g., AI, CV, ML, 3D graphics, HCI)
