The Technical Partner provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Direct and Indirect Patient Care: Provide patient care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of care.
- Perform Patient Care Needs: Assist patients with activities of daily living, respond to call lights, and collect, document, and report ongoing patient care data.
- Transport Patients: Transport patients as directed, and perform skills such as vital sign measurement, heating pad application, and suction equipment setup.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Make regular rounds to address patient needs, communicate with healthcare providers, and participate in performance improvement activities.
- Provide Education and Support: Assist in the educational process to promote and maintain health, foster self-care, and improve outcomes.
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or higher level of education.
- Experience: Completion of a Nurse Aide or comparable program, or prior experience in a related field.
- Skills: Sound judgment, problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to follow directions.
- Nurse Aide Certification: Current certification as a Nurse Aide.
- Patient Care Experience: Prior experience in patient care.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Phlebotomy and EKG experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 Clearances: Current clearances for Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73.
