Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations and Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Gable Search Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Monitor and control plant operations, including start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct chemical analysis on plant water systems and operate and maintain reverse osmosis and demineralizing systems.
  • Perform maintenance and upkeep of site buildings and grounds.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and plant procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or trade school certification preferred.
  • 5 years of direct related experience, including understanding of environmental and safety regulations.
  • Ability to acquire a State of MN 2nd Class A boiler license within 18 months of employment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of chemistry, physics, electricity, and mathematics.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions.
