Job Title: Genetic Analysis Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Genetic Analysis Specialist to join our team in the consumer genetics department. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing genome-wide and targeted genetic analysis for a range of customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, stage, and aliquot specimens for testing
  • Work within a high volume laboratory as part of a dedicated team to ensure patient results are reported within an acceptable turn-around-time
  • Maintain, calibrate, and clean instrumentation
  • Perform required QC/QA duties which include error detection, maintaining records/logs, and pulling samples for rework

Requirements:

  • Hard Skills: PCR, DNA/RNA, Extractions
  • Job Type: Contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s)
  • Work Site: Fully on-site position in Burlington, North Carolina
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced lab environment in the consumer genetics department
