About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our Sourcing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sourcing strategies to optimize GMV, profit, and market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage private brand sourcing strategy and supplier matrix to support Every Day Low Prices strategy
  • Communicate with retail teams to align, arrange buy trips, and manage critical issues during the order execution process
  • Oversee factory capability and capacity, product quality, and on-time delivery
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth product development process from ideation to final production
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships, including account management, project management, and factories
  • Conduct supplier assessments and formulate the supplier matrix for an assigned category
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various business partners and suppliers to understand business needs and develop optimal solutions
  • Manage the oversight of sourcing and operational issues regarding costing and quality of Omni channel
  • Lead identified sourcing opportunities to ensure suppliers' capability
  • Guide partners and suppliers to ensure product quality, delivery, and price goals
  • Ensure follow-up of all sourcing activities with support teams and suppliers
  • Drive RFP/RFI/RFQ, negotiate price, and develop alternatives to achieve sourcing objectives
  • Identify and resolve pricing and factory issues with suppliers
  • Partner with Merchandise Quality Engineers on problems related to quality
  • Present sourcing solutions that mitigate risks while maintaining profitability
  • Understand supplier capabilities, capacity, and performance
  • Evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies, and take corrective actions when necessary
  • Use in-depth understanding of should-be cost structure to provide cost-saving opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or related area
  • 3 years' experience in sourcing
  • Bilingual in English and one or more language used to transact business in assigned country
  • Project Management certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in retail, manufacturing, or sourcing
  • Experience working for a retailer, or major brand, importer/agent serving a major retail customer
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000.00-$130,000.00, plus additional compensation including annual or quarterly performance bonuses. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits, financial benefits, paid time off, and more.
