Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at Red Bison Technology Group LLC. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare basic financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies
  • Utilize software for managing bills and payments for bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, manage AP aging reports and reconcile GL balance to sub-ledger
  • Generate customer invoices, track receivables, follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile GL balance to sub-ledger
  • Respond to inquiries from senior management and company professionals regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of accounting experience focusing on AP, AR, general ledger, and financial reporting
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered in place of a Bachelors degree
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, including remote team members as well as independently and be a self-starter

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
