Machine Setup Technician

Crucial Link Group is seeking a skilled Machine Setup Operator to join our team in Valley City. As a Machine Setup Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up induction machines to run consistently and error-free to meet quality standards.
- Use mechanical skills, setup cards, and obtained knowledge to ensure machines run at 100% efficiency.
- Work productively, efficiently, and timely to meet customer needs.
- Ensure all quality requirements are met and machines can run without getting a first inspection shut down.
- Work with and instruct operators to observe machine operation with awareness of machine malfunction and/or operator error.
- Maintain and care for equipment and tooling within specified guidelines.
- Effectively communicate and cooperate with team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including setup cards and machine logs.
- Actively participate in and maintain Company Safety and Housekeeping standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical skills.
- General electrical and hydraulic knowledge.
- Able to operate independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to successfully communicate with other team members to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Ability to read and follow Work Instructions.
- Demonstrate steady, methodical, error-free work output.
- Shop environment - Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Bending, stooping, standing, walking on hard surfaces.
- Ability to lift, up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
- Ability to work in hot environment.
- Ability to use hands and arms to operate equipment.
