About the Role

The Corporate Chef, South, is a key member of our Culinary Leadership team, responsible for providing expert support and guidance to Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholders in the development of innovative food products for national, regional, industrial, and field accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Culinary Department in achieving targeted US Sales, GM, and OI targets through effective budget management and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to develop and execute customized culinary solutions for customers in the Texas and West Region.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in our Custom Culinary product portfolio, creating custom product applications and menu concepts for diverse high-quality, culinary-forward RTU products.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to integrate data insights and guidelines into recipe creation, driving a custom strategy with our Custom Culinary customers in the region.
  • Execute various culinary special projects, including menu development for Global Team meetings and unique recipe creation for food shows.
  • Provide training and culinary acumen to customers, brokers, and internal teams, increasing the company's culinary expertise.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a corporate or regional chef role, hotel sous chef, R&D chef, or consultant chef.
  • Strong knowledge of basic and advanced culinary techniques, with the ability to creatively support and translate written concepts into live taste samples.
  • Excellent soft skills, including teamwork, listening, effective communication, prioritizing, organizing, problem-solving, dependability, adaptability, flexibility, self-motivation, responsibility, business etiquette, integrity, open-mindedness, creativity, critical thinking, and time management.
  • Ability to work effectively across multi-functional lines, with a focus on departmental initiatives and goals relative to the company's overall success.
  • Physical ability to work in a classic kitchen setting, with the ability to stand for long periods and work autonomously with unfamiliar equipment and settings.
