Radiology Imaging Specialist

Nitelines USA, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine radiologic procedures, transmitting and retrieving X-ray images, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Radiologic Procedures: Conduct routine radiologic procedures ordered by medical staff for the inmate population, ensuring accurate and timely completion of exams.
- Image Transmission and Retrieval: Transmit, retrieve X-ray images and reports electronically, and scan reports into inmates' Bureau Electronic Medical Record (BEMR).
- Equipment Maintenance: Evaluate radiographic equipment for calibrations and repairs, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Cultural Competence: Work with an inmate population from diverse cultural, racial, religious, and ethnic backgrounds, providing respectful and compassionate care.
- Emergency Situations: Possess knowledge of basic emergency situations that may occur during special radiographic procedures, responding promptly and effectively.
- Record Keeping: Schedule exams, maintain accurate records, and coordinate transfer of patient radiologic records to ensure continuity of care.
- Liaison Role: Act as liaison between radiologist and medical staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance tests and daily maintenance on x-ray equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Administrative Tasks: Computerize and print daily logs, exam requisitions, and folder labels, as well as assist with maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Licensure: Shall be fully licensed to perform radiological procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and licensed by the state of Pennsylvania.
- Experience: Must have at least three or more years of experience in radiologic technology.
- Certifications: Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Education: Must possess and submit evidentiary documentation of graduation from an accredited school of radiology technology.
