Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based services to K-12 students in the Port Charlotte, FL area.

Job Overview:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess and treat students with communication and speech disorders, helping them thrive academically and socially. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Design and implement therapy plans that target a range of communication skills.
  • Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions within the school setting.
  • Work closely with educators and parents to support student progress.
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing insights for student goal setting.
  • Ensure compliance with school and state policies regarding therapy services.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Florida SLP licensure.
  • Experience with K-12 students preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
