We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support the academic and social success of students with speech, language, and communication disorders in Port Charlotte, FL.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address student needs.
- Provide speech-language services in individual and group settings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of student progress and adapt therapy strategies as needed.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
- School-based experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
