Physical Therapist

As a Physical Therapist at Spaulding Hospital - Boston and Cambridge, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess and evaluate patients' needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and educate patients and their families on physical therapy techniques and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans to address their goals and objectives.
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to patients, including exercises, modalities, and other treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
• Educate patients and their families on physical therapy techniques, strategies, and self-management skills to promote independence and empowerment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility and professional guidelines.
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic skills in math and computer science.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of service delivery and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
• Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
• Computer proficiency, with a preference for Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software.
