Job Summary:
The Rehabilitation Aide will assist the Patient Experience Coordinator and clinicians by performing administrative and clinical duties. This role will involve greeting patients, working alongside physical therapists and assistants, and conducting tasks in compliance with state practice act requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments, assist with administration of treatments, and provide routine care.
- Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients with exercises and functional activities under the direction of professional staff.
- Provide routine treatments, such as hot/cold packs, and other modalities like Ultrasounds and Electrical stimulation.
- Clean work areas and equipment after treatment, wash linens, and maintain linen cabinets.
- Assist with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork and charts.
- Help maintain restrooms and other areas, restock supplies, and order inventory as needed.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to document projects and manage production.
- Attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
- Able to demonstrate compassion toward patients and work as a team player.
Work Environment:
This role is based in an internal office with a low noise level.
