Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop sophisticated applications for the iOS platform utilizing Swift and Xcode.
  • Collaborate with the design team to outline app functionalities and ensure a cohesive user experience.
  • Establish and oversee automated testing and deployment workflows using Jenkins to enhance development efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough code evaluations, maintain code quality, and promote best practices within the development team.
  • Guide junior iOS developers, providing mentorship on best practices and supporting their career growth.
  • Oversee the complete application lifecycle, from initial concept to delivery and ongoing maintenance.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks, resolve bugs to enhance application functionality, and optimize for speed and scalability.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including other mobile developers and product managers, to strategize, design, and implement new features.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends, applications, and protocols within the mobile industry.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of pertinent experience in iOS application development.
  • Proficient in Swift with a comprehensive understanding of the Xcode development environment.
  • Previous experience with Jenkins or comparable CI/CD tools.
  • A solid grasp of the complete mobile application development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform mobile development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
  • Expertise in iOS frameworks including Core Data and Core Animation, among others.
  • Skilled in offline storage, threading, and performance enhancement.
  • Proficient in Git and best practices for code versioning.
  • Experience in integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Knowledgeable in push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration and deployment for mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with containerization and application deployment in PCF/Kubernetes environments.
  • Proficient in DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with code quality tools/frameworks like PMD, SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito, and Mutation Testing.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Agile Scrum/SAFe Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
