Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Baker to play a pivotal role in our bakery, contributing to the creation of our signature desserts and breads. This position requires a commitment to quality and a passion for baking in a collaborative and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft a diverse range of handmade yeasted breads and laminated doughs, including the preparation and shaping of danishes.
  • Prepare buttercreams and genoise for the pastry section.
  • Assist in the creation of Swiss specialties under guidance.
  • Organize daily setups for upcoming production needs.
  • Maintain an inventory of essential ingredients and prepped items, including various doughs and mixes.
Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a baking role or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices; ServSafe certification is a plus.
  • A background in Culinary Arts is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests with a positive attitude.
Work Schedule:
Our bakery operates from Tuesday to Saturday, with early morning shifts. We observe closures on specific holidays, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule for our team.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
