Job Title: Relish Production Lead

At The Kraft Heinz Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Relish Production Lead to join our team in the Holland Factory. As a Relish Production Lead, you will be responsible for leading the activities of the relish, sauce, and mustard making area, coordinating various products to supply production needs, and maintaining the flow of stock to the production area.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct daily activities of relish, sauce, and mustard crews, general labor.
  • Operate relish, sauce, and mustard making area without immediate supervision.
  • Read recipes, assure proper recipes are being used, and make analytical adjustments if needed.
  • Calculate line yields and provide production with the proper amount for production runs.
  • Oversee and understand the operation of the Chlorine Dioxide system.
  • Responsible for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) checks.
  • Oversee fresh cucumber receiving area during green season.
  • Fill in for any PC positions when employees are absent.
  • Perform minor mechanical work, such as patching hoses and cleaning Tempco as needed.
  • Escalate quality defects and concerns to leads/supervisors.
  • Follow safe practices and report safety issues to supervisor as they arise.
  • Conduct inspections as necessary, report results, and provide recommendations for corrective actions to supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and proper sanitation and housekeeping in the area.
  • Perform periodic safety and GMP audits as needed.
  • Other duties as instructed by manager or lead coordinator.
Requirements:
  • Upon hire, will train to become Lock Out Tag Out certified and maintain qualification.
  • Must successfully pass on-the-job training and maintain operator qualification.
  • Forklift driving license required.
