Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team at Providence Health & Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of our Operations and Logistics strategy at the local ministry, ensuring seamless supply chain operations and logistics functions, and maintaining the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Operations: Oversee the daily supervision of all supply chain operations and logistics functions, including receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, par management, point of use, inventory control, and maintenance of all inventories and receiving related Materials Management systems and analytic information.
  • Inventory Management: Manage all perpetuals, periodic, and par inventories, as well as all supplies received, stored, and issued at Providence ministries within the respective ministry or site.
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Collaborate with key operational stakeholders within the ministry and supply chain peers within the Supply Chain Region to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies.
  • Performance Management: Develop and conduct employee annual performance reviews, and participate in budget development under the direction of the Manager.
  • Operational Improvement: Participate in and partner with others on Operations and Logistics operational improvement efforts and programs, ensuring a compliant, effective, and streamlined operational experience at the local ministry/site for all caregivers.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance, or Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience: 4+ years' experience in supply chain management or finance experience, 1+ years' experience working in a healthcare setting, and 1+ years' experience working in a supervisory level role.
  • Skills: Healthcare Business operations and/or financial management experience in a healthcare setting, experience standardizing disparate processes, experience in process improvement methodology, change management, and operational improvement.
