Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Berkeley, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform technical ultrasound procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical ultrasound procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
  • Work collaboratively with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Graduation from a certified school of ultrasound.
  • ARDMS-American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • OB/GYN and AB certifications preferred.
  • 2 years related experience and/or training.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of physiology, procedure preparation, and technical factors.
  • Ability to operate all ultrasound equipment and select and modify technical factors as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
