TISSUE PROCESSING SPECIALIST
  • Location: Syracuse, New York
  • Position Type: Permanent and full-time

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Tissue Processing Specialist. This role offers various shifts and schedules to accommodate your lifestyle.

Qualifications:

  • NYS State Laboratory License is mandatory.
  • Associate's Degree in Science (or higher) is required.
  • ASCP (HT or HTL) certification or eligibility to obtain it is essential.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not a strict requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Tissue Processing Specialist, you will:

  • Process and prepare both fixed and unfixed tissue and cytology specimens.
  • Utilize histologic, frozen sectioning, immunohistochemical, in situ hybridization, and tissue microarray techniques.
