Histotechnician Specialist

Job Opportunity:

Are you a skilled histotechnician looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced histotechnician to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. As a histotechnician, you will be responsible for processing and preparing fixed and unfixed tissue and cytology specimens using various techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and prepare tissue and cytology specimens for histopathological examination
- Use histologic, frozen sectioning, immunohistochemical, in situ hybridization, and tissue microarray techniques
- Maintain accurate records and follow laboratory protocols

Requirements:

- Associate's Degree in Science (or higher)
- NYS State Laboratory License
- ASCP (HT or HTL) certification or eligible to obtain
