Lecturer in Sport Leadership and Administration

Job Summary:

The University of Massachusetts Boston seeks a full-time non-tenure-track Lecturer to join the Department of Counseling and School Psychology in the College of Education and Human Development. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate-level courses, advise students, assist in recruitment and selection, and provide service to university committees and professional associations.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate-level courses in Sport Leadership and Administration
  • Advise undergraduate students in the Sport Leadership and Administration program
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of new students for the program
  • Provide service to university, college, and departmental committees, and to professional associations
Requirements:

Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in Sport Management or a related field and evidence of excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will work closely with the Internship Coordinator for the Sport Leadership and Administration program.

About the Department:

The Sport Leadership and Administration Program is housed in the Department of Counseling and School Psychology within the College of Education and Human Development. The Department includes 25 full-time faculty and serves undergraduate and graduate students.
