**Job Description**

The Provo Laboratory Supervisor oversees all routine aspects of the laboratory, including quality control, patient testing, employee orientation, training, and competency. This role requires:

  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, training, and evaluating employees.
  • Developing and recognizing staff, assisting them in setting and achieving goals.
  • Promoting open communication and encouraging staff suggestions regarding department operations.

This role requires knowledge of general clinical laboratory procedures and practices, as well as the ability to operate through delegation and accountability.

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical or medical laboratory experience in CLIA high complexity testing.
  • Familiarity with CLIA, COLA, and OSHA Laboratory regulations.
**Work Schedule**

This is a salaried position with a 40-hour work week, primarily Monday-Friday. Shifts may vary depending on the needs of the department.
