Press Operator Role Overview:

As a vital member of our production team at Utah PaperBox, the Press Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of printing machinery. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret Job Instructions: Read and analyze job tickets to guide the setup of the press according to specified requirements.
  • Adjust Print Settings: Fine-tune print quality, registration, and color settings to prepare the job for production.
  • Conduct Inspections: Perform thorough pre-run inspections and obtain necessary approvals from supervisors before commencing production.
  • Monitor Machine Operations: Observe the press during operation to identify any malfunctions and implement adjustments as needed.
