Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Personal Care Aide to join our team at CarePartners Health Services. As a Personal Care Aide, you will provide essential home management tasks and personal care services to enable individuals to remain functional and effective at home. This role requires heavy lifting, reaching, pulling, squatting, and stooping, as well as the ability to carry 50 pounds up 10 stairs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with essential home management tasks, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Support individuals with daily living activities, such as toileting and transferring
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in weekend work responsibilities and be available for on-call shifts
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate in Certified Personal Care Aide preferred
  • Valid NC driver's license required within 30 days of employment start date
  • Certified Personal Care Aide certification required within 30 days of employment start date
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry up 10 stairs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
