About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at Encore Fire Protection. As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and servicing fire sprinkler systems in commercial buildings throughout the New York Metropolitan area and Long Island.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, maintain, and service fire sprinkler systems in commercial buildings
  • Work at heights and lift at least 50lbs
  • Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the state of New York
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen/background check as a condition of employment
  • Interest in the construction industry and experience reading blueprints, using hand tools, and operating machinery is a plus
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in the fire protection industry preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs and work at heights
