Senior Research Statistician

Job Summary
This position will serve as the lead statistician for multiple projects with varying levels of complexity, acting as the primary contact with the sponsor for all biostatistics-related activities. The successful candidate will be an enterprise resource for complex statistical questions, study design considerations, and protocol development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review statistical analysis plans (SAPs) based on the protocol, including the creation of well-presented mock-up displays for tables, listings, and figures.
- Conduct and participate in the review and quality control of project deliverables, ensuring that output meets expectations and is consistent with the analysis described in the SAP.
- Present analyses to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct literature reviews related to analyses and prepare manuscripts for publication, managing the publication submission process.
- Mentor and advise junior research statisticians.
- Discuss time estimates for completion of study-related activities with stakeholders and management, proactively communicating any difficulties with meeting these timelines.
- Participate in project teams, interfacing as necessary with other departmental project team representatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree in analytics, health services research, epidemiology, or biostatistics with 3 years of statistical analysis experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6 years of experience, or a Doctorate in a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of SAS, R, or Stata.
- Ability to apply knowledge of advanced statistical design, analysis, and programming techniques utilized in clinical research and to effectively communicate statistical concepts.
