About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room, prioritizing patient safety and well-being
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, identifying potential risks and developing effective plans to mitigate them
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, communicating clearly with colleagues and patients about treatment plans and progress
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies in operative nursing
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and respect among colleagues

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, preferably with an Associate Degree or higher
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State of Nebraska required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire
- Previous experience in perioperative nursing preferred; CVOR experience a plus
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure
