Job Description:

A Surgical Team Coordinator RN is responsible for ensuring patient safety and well-being during surgical procedures. They will collaborate with surgical teams to maintain OR efficiency and effective communication. Additionally, they will participate in pre and post-operative patient care and education, develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and OR performance, and stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patient safety and well-being during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain OR efficiency and effective communication
  • Participate in pre and post-operative patient care and education
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and OR performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a current RN license in the state of Nebraska and 2+ years of experience in OR nursing. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations. Basic knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols is also required.
