Job Overview

The Human Resources Manager at CTI Foods is responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance to the plant's HR functions. This role serves as a business partner to the plant leadership team, partnering with them to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate HR activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives to foster positive employee relations, an engaged workforce, and a positive culture throughout the plant.
  • Influence and implement company-wide programs related to performance management, talent and succession planning, and career development.
  • Develop and implement learning and development strategies, including analyzing needs, delivering training, securing corporate training resources, and analyzing results.
  • Ensure leaders and other top talent are engaged, developed, and retained.
  • Manage and implement the Talent Management Process, aligning company goals with performance and talent management systems, compensation, and incentives.
  • Implement policies and practices, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Partner with plant leadership to consistently and fairly apply disciplinary actions and improvement plans.
  • Respond to employee complaints by leading investigations, conducting due diligence, and serving as a contact person with outside agencies.
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies for the hourly workforce, including forecasting and short-term resourcing to meet current and future demand.
  • Implement diversity strategies and ensure recruiting strategies and sources are focused on achieving diversity goals and AAP actions at the plant level.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a concentration in employee/labor relations.
  • 3+ years at a management level and in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate thoughts and convey information verbally, via electronic mediums, and presentations.
  • Business partner and trusted advisor, with experience working on multi-functional project teams.
  • Rapid, adaptive thinking to build and execute strategies in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Business and financial acumen from an HR standpoint.
  • Highly functional user of MS Office Suite and ADP HR.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish speaking candidate is a plus.
