Job Summary:

The Direct Care Staff will play a vital role in providing services to residents of Poverello Center Inc, maintaining safety and health standards, and supporting the operation of the Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check individuals in for meals and ensure their needs are met.
  • Complete weekend day staff duties and special assignments as directed by the kitchen manager.
  • Provide services to residents consistent with the rules of occupancy and Poverello Center Inc's Mission.
  • Assist residents as needed and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Perform area inspections in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain safety through rule enforcement and document rule violations and incident reports.
  • Maintain accurate records in the log and work collaboratively with other service providers to meet client needs.
  • Perform general office and clerical duties, including staffing the office and answering phone calls.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement if required and perform other duties as necessary.
