At Poverello Center Inc, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Direct Care Staff. This role is responsible for providing essential services to our residents, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, and supporting the overall operation of our center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check individuals in for lunch and dinner
  • Complete weekend day staff duties and special assignments as directed by the kitchen manager
  • Provide services to residents consistent with the rules of occupancy and our center's mission
  • Assist residents as needed
  • Perform area inspections in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain safety through rule enforcement
  • Document rule violations and record incident reports
  • Maintain accurate records in the log
  • Work collaboratively with other service providers to meet client needs
  • Perform general office and clerical duties
  • Staff the office, answer phone calls, and direct them as appropriate
  • Cooperate with law enforcement if required
  • Perform other duties as necessary
Requirements:
  • Valid Montana driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Successful completion of a thorough background investigation
  • Experience working with homeless individuals or people in poverty is preferred
Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Exposure to unpleasant sights, sounds, and odors is frequently encountered.
