About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to increase our market share in the North American region. This exciting opportunity involves growing our account base through servicing existing customers and expanding into new markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly sales calls, including servicing existing customers and making cold calls to potential clients.
  • Prepare weekly sales and call reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop a monthly strategy for sales calls and create a travel calendar to maximize effectiveness.
  • Conduct area market analysis to identify top accounts, dealers, contractors, and builders in each region.
  • Research local market product data to determine the types, styles, and sizes of ceramic and porcelain tile that are most popular in each area.
  • Increase market share by growing sales and sales volume while maintaining company-approved product margin goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma and some college education preferred; functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes/email required.
  • 4 years prior selling experience, with proven ability to work in an unstructured environment.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation necessary.
Competencies
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently; strong interpersonal skills, including influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
